Full Description:
Your adventure begins with a 9:00 am departure from your hotel in Marrakech, as you head towards the snow-capped peaks of Oukaimeden. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights about the region and make stops at scenic viewpoints for some stunning photo opportunities.
Once in Oukaimeden, your guide will take care of arranging your chairlift passes so you can quickly ascend to the top of the mountain. At the summit, enjoy panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains, surrounded by a winter wonderland of snow (December through March).
After taking in the sights, break for lunch before spending the afternoon playing in the snow. Whether you’re interested in sledding, trying out a ski lesson, or simply soaking up the cool mountain air, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the activities at your own pace.
On your way back to Marrakech, your guide will make a couple of stops in the picturesque Ourika Valley. Visit a traditional Berber house and learn about local life, then stop at a women’s cooperative to see the production of the world-renowned Argan oil.
Finally, depart Oukaimeden around 4:00 pm and enjoy a comfortable drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.
