  • 8:30 AM: Arrive at the charming village of Amizmiz, nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
  • 8:40 AM: Kick off the adventure with a briefing to introduce the hiking routes and activities planned for the day.
  • 9:00 AM: Savor a traditional Moroccan breakfast at a guesthouse in Ait Saïd, complete with fresh bread, honey, olives, and mint tea.

   

  Embark on the Hike

  • 9:30 AM: Set off on a breathtaking hike through the region’s stunning landscapes.

   

  Choose Your Adventure

  Select from four routes designed for different fitness levels and experiences:

  • 12 km: 400 m elevation gain – A pleasant, scenic hike ideal for beginners.
  • 15 km: 500 m elevation gain – A balanced route for those seeking moderate challenge.
  • 18 km: 500 m elevation gain – Perfect for adventurers with a bit more stamina.
  • 21 km: 650 m elevation gain – A rewarding trek with incredible panoramic views.

   

  All trails wind through dense, aromatic forests teeming with local flora and fauna, passing traditional Berber villages. Along the way, enjoy a stop at a pottery workshop to learn about the region’s rich artisanal heritage.

   

  Traditional Lunch and Cultural Experience

  • 1:00 PM: Indulge in an authentic Moroccan lunch at a local family’s home:
  • Option 1: Flavorful tagine served with fresh salad and dessert.
  • Option 2: Hearty couscous paired with salad and a sweet treat.

   

  Return Journey

  • 2:30 PM: Begin your return hike to Amizmiz via an alternate route. This path offers equally stunning views of the rolling hills, lush valleys, and picturesque villages. Don’t forget to capture the serene beauty on camera!
  • 5:30 PM: Arrive back at the guesthouse in Ait Saïd, where you’ll unwind with a refreshing cup of mint tea and reflect on your day of adventure.
